TwitcherDeck started with a simple question: why isn't there a beautiful, free, personal bird journal for British birders?
BirdTrack and eBird are powerful datasets. But they're built around data collection, not personal satisfaction. We wanted something that felt like opening your field notebook — warm, personal, yours.
So we built it. Free forever, sustained by the community that uses it.
"Jizz" is a real birding term — the overall impression a bird gives that allows an experienced birder to identify it at a glance. Shape, movement, posture, behaviour. It's what separates a twitcher from a tourist with binoculars.
TwitcherDeck is named for the serious birder. The one who looks up even when they're not supposed to.
We pledge 5% of all donation income to UK bird conservation organisations. Every Flock member is directly funding the birds they love to watch.
